I was really over cooking for 2 straight weeks so my boyfriend & I came here for dinner one day. We were seated quickly & the service was great. They have a nice patio outside. That's what the 2 stars is for. We ordered chips & salsa as an appetizer. I got the enchilada el dorado. I was not impressed with any of the food we got. My chicken wasn't seasoned that well. & there wasn't anything inside them besides tiny strips of chicken & the creamy enchilada sauce reminded me of an Alfredo sauce... Frozen margarita was good. Overall I probably won't come back here for food.

Went in close to closing time but treated nice. Awesome Bloody Mary's. I got the pork chops n Richard the grilled shrimp. Best place we have eaten in El Dorado which isn't saying too much. Good service..patio to sit on with few of downtown passing people. $60 2 dinners...sampler appetizer... 2 bloody Mary's...beer.

Little bit of everything, not sure what to call their food focus but then again the signage in the place doesn't even agree as to what the name is. By reputation a great place to get a steak. I've not tried it but had a Tex-Mex plate lunch that was very good not over-sauced not over-cheesed. One bit of confusion, the lunch menus have numbers for specials as does the regular menu and those numbers do not match. Great renovated building makes for a nice atmosphere. They aren't taking big culinary risks from what I tasted but it was a good meal and not many communities of such size have a quality option like this.

Great place, right on the square. Tried the Pechuga on my first visit - it was unexpectedly good. Beers are on the small side, but very cheap!

I just ordered a taco salad to go but had chips and salsa and a beer while waiting. I loved that they had no problem with substitutions for me. Removed dairy products added salsa and guacamole. The salad was great. I did not see beans on the menu or I would have had them removed as well but they really did add something to the flavor so I have no complaints. The chips and salsa were incredible. The chips were not greasy or salty and the salsa has that incredible slow heat that starts mild and warms you up. Very delicious experience.

They are good! One of the local places I'll keep going too!! Enough high chairs, they act like they like kids, prices are fine and salsa is great!

Love coming and having drinks and dinner on the covered patio. The atmosphere is the draw. There are some secret items you can order. Try the crack dip and the chicken special.

Wow... for such a beautiful facade, this place was probably the worst dining experience I have made it through in years. The margarita was horrid... poor mix to tequila ratio, no flavor, and was just not good in anyway. The service was nice, but very unknowledgeable of the menu items, had not tried several of the dishes they were serving, had no opinions on what was good and was slow. I had the chimichanga... it was home made, but very poor quality. The meat inside was parboiled and burnt on the edges, and the "Cheese sauce" was fairly weak. I wish I could offer an alternative, but this was the only place I tried in El Dorado.

This place was surprisingly really really good. I love going to El Dorado's shopping area downtown and this place was great to stop and refuel. Prices were good and it has a laid back patio outside. The waitress was very nice and the food was really good tex mex, compared to what we are used to in Ruston atleast. I got a shrimp stuffed baked potato which was huge and filling and less than $10. It was also something I've never had or seen before elsewhere. Definitely recommended!

I'm torn, on the one hand their tacos carbon are great, on the other hand the salsa is usually terrible and they screwed up enchiladas (it takes hard work to do that). The service is hit or miss. They do have really good fried catfish; the batter is light and crispy. It's honestly the best catfish I've had on Arkansas. Even though I gave it three stars there is something about the place that keeps me coming back.

Old lettuce and pico de gallo lead to disappointing nachos. The beef in my burrito was oddly spiced and the tortillas were chewy. Some of the rice that it came with was uncooked, and though brightly colored, lacked flavor. Did not bring back my credit card with the receipt (???).

Enjoyed the patio dining. Perfect day for it. Food was fair. Catfish was underseasoned. French fries good. Taco was average and enchalada was overwrmed & with no sauce.

This was literally the WORST meal of my life. Nuclear waste green margaritas, sticky table, salsa that was clearly out of a jar (Pace anyone?), stale chips and awful entrees all around at the table (chimichanga and a ribeye steak). I'm completely shocked this place us able to stay in business...buyer beware!!!

The food is just okay. I like sitting out on the patio and having a margarita. Great place to grab lunch with girlfriends after window shopping downtown.

There aren't many places to eat in El Dorado. I've been here twice now. It's located just off the square downtown and it's quick and good. If you're in town and need a good meal or a quick drink check it out.

This is a tex-mex/steakhouse combination restaurant. I've eaten here several times when in town for business and have not become sick. While this place isn't great, it isn't awful. It is a middle of the road type of place. I tend to order the steaks more than any of the mexican fare. It does have a nice outdoor seating area. They have a burgundy pepper sirloin steak covered with cheese/mushrooms which is decent.

ordered the lunch special of a cheese enchilada and relleno stuffed with ground beef. enchilada was ok, relleno did not taste very good. i asked and they told me they make the rellenos in house, but they tasted like they had been frozen. also had a virgin bloody mary which was tasty. all the food was very salty. i am still thirsty 5 hours later. it is located right on the square and has a patio.

I got food poisoning after eating here and almost died. Avoid this place like plague. Several people I have spoken to at work have also gotten sick after eating there. I'm not sure why this place is still in business.
